Welcome to StepsToKmConverter. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are the agreement between you and us for using our free step-to-distance converter and the pages around it. We’ve kept them as clear as we can. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Kısaca Using the site means you accept these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
These Terms govern your access to and use of StepsToKmConverter (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Kısaca A free browser-based calculator that estimates distance from steps, plus related guides — no accounts, no payments.
The Service is a free online tool that estimates walking, running, and hiking distance from a step count (and vice-versa), along with related calculators and informational content. The calculations run in your browser in real time.
Kısaca Use the Service where it’s legal to do so, and on your own behalf.
You may use the Service only where doing so is permitted by law. By using it, you represent that you can form a binding agreement with us and that your use complies with all laws and regulations that apply to you.
Kısaca Don’t attack, abuse, or misrepresent the Service. Otherwise, enjoy it.
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure;
- Introduce malware, scrape at abusive volumes, or interfere with other users’ use of the Service;
- Copy, resell, or commercially exploit the Service or its content except as expressly permitted (see Embedding the tool);
- Remove or obscure any notices, or misrepresent your affiliation with us.
Kısaca Distances are estimates based on stride length and averages — real distances vary. Don’t rely on them for anything critical.
The Service converts steps to distance using stride-length estimates and general averages (which may be based on height, gender, or activity type). Because everyone’s stride, terrain, and pace differ, the results are approximations for general informational purposes and may differ from your actual distance.

Kısaca The site, design, and content are ours. You get a personal, limited licence to use them.
The Service — including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software — is owned by StepsToKmConverter or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
Kısaca You may embed our widget as provided, unmodified, with attribution intact.
We offer an embeddable version of the converter. If you embed it, you may do so only using the code we provide, without modifying, framing deceptively, or removing any attribution, and provided your site is lawful and not harmful to our reputation. We may update or discontinue the embed at any time.
Kısaca We link out for convenience but don’t control or endorse those sites.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services (such as analytics and our hosting provider). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Accessing them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee it will always be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, StepsToKmConverter and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service (which is zero) or the minimum amount required by applicable law.
